YOUR TASKS:
- Set-up, program and operate multiple CNC cutter grind machines, to make tools that conform to MAPAL standards and to the machine’s maximum capabilities. Must ensure all tooling is inspected for proper manufacturing to blueprint specifications and MAPAL standards.
- Tool measurement and inspection according to blueprints and standards with appropriate measuring tools such as Kelch, Zoller, Walter Helicheck,and Uniscale.
- Produce product in accordance with, job router, print and to ISO processes and procedures, manufacturing in the most efficient manner. Implement and inspect machine maintenance according to maintenance schedule
- Daily planning of production/programming to meet and exceed customer specifications
- Ensure work area and machines are maintained, organized and clean in accordance with 5-S principles and standards. 5-S successful audit
- Exceeds and exhibit all MAPAL Inc. behaviors as defined by policy, procedure and standard. 360-degree feedback and performance evaluation
- Ensure written flow charts, work instructions and/or standards for each position responsibility is consistent and accurate. Update, refine and adjust as needed or required.
- Actively participates in all cross-functional team projects and assignments as directed by plant supervision.

YOUR PROFILE:
- Health, hygiene and safety oriented
- Detail oriented and skilled in understanding process workflow
- Demonstrates ability to work with minimal supervision
- 1-3 years education, experience, OJT program or equivalent, working with similar machines
- Demonstrated experience with metal cutting principles
- Demonstrated ability to read, interpret and understand blueprints
- Positive, "Can do" attitude and approach
