YOUR TASKS:
- Receive and process order within required time allotment. Review order from completeness and accuracy to customer specifications including verification from operations /supply chain / keeping the tool list updated
- Follow-up with customer accordingly
- Process confirmation and ensure customer received via written verification
- Inputs and processes all RFQ’s in accordance with all policies, procedures, and customer specifications
- Key contact to ensue customer contact is achieved
- Prepares and manages backlog to ensure order is processed within cost and delivery restrictions
- Back-up to Customer Service Department order entry when needed
- Verify pricing and part #’s and cross check all orders. Ensure customer is updated throughout order, manufacturing, and delivery process
- Assist sales and customers by providing information regarding delivery, product status, pricing. Ensure follow-up and follow through are satisfactory to the customer
- Process material needs as needed and via procedure. Create purchase order in accordance with policy and procedure. Ensures all MSDS and ISO required documents are secured
- Identify risks, delays, and escalate when needed.
- Ensure work area and equipment are maintained, organized and clean to Mapal standards
- Exceed and exhibit all Mapal Inc. behaviors as defined by policy, procedure and standards
- Ensure written flow charts, work instructions and/or standards for each position responsibility is consistent and accurate. Update, refine and adjust as needed or required.
- Actively participates in all cross-functional team projects and assignments as directed by Manufacturing Director
- Tasks as assigned to qualification standard
YOUR PROFILE:
- 3 years customer service representative experience within manufacturing enviroment
- High school diploma; Associates degree in Business and/or Management preferred. Customer Service Excellence
- Demonstrated experience SAP Proficiency
- Proficient in MS Office and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet).
- Active listening, verbal and written communications
- Proficiency in reading and understanding Engineering drawings and instructions
- Detail oriented and skilled in understanding troubleshooting, process workflow
- Positive, ‘Can do’ attitude and approach
