YOUR TASKS:

  • Operational Leadership:
    • Lead and manage plant managers at multiple manufacturing facilities within the region, ensuring operational excellence and alignment with company strategies in the Americas
    • Monitor and analyze production metrics (quality, yield, throughput, cost) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
    • Oversee production planning and scheduling to optimize capacity utilization and meet customer delivery deadlines
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the region, including lean manufacturing practices, process optimization, and technology upgrades
    • Collaborate with senior managers in the development of performance goals and long-term operational plans
    • Maximize efficiency and productivity through extensive process analysis and interdepartmental collaboration
    • Set strategic goals for operational efficiency and increased productivity; develop, implement, and monitor day-to-day operational systems and processes to provide visibility into the goals, progress, and obstacles of key initiatives
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Ensure adherence to strict quality standards and regulations throughout the manufacturing process
    • Implement quality control procedures and monitor product quality metrics to identify and address quality issues promptly
    • Collaborate with quality teams to investigate and resolve quality non-conformances
  • Cost Management:
    • Develop and manage regional operational budgets, identifying cost reduction opportunities and optimizing resource allocation
    • Monitor and control manufacturing expenses, including labor, materials, and overhead costs
    • Analyze production data to identify cost inefficiencies and implement cost-saving measures
  • People Development:
    • Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing talent within the region
    • Provide leadership and coaching to plant managers and frontline employees to enhance their skills and performance
    • Foster a culture of safety and continuous learning across the manufacturing sites
  • Compliance and Safety:
    • Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations, environmental standards, and quality guidelines
    • Investigate safety incidents, implement corrective actions, and promote a strong safety culture
    • Collaborate with EHS teams to maintain compliance and address safety concerns

YOUR PROFILE:

  • High level of equal emotional intelligence and intellectual ability to encourage their leadership team and managers to do the same
  • Documented and demonstrable 7 to 10 years industry experience founded with strong leadership that is exhibited through leading and managing with a strategic mindset, communicating with a high level of credibility earned with a passion for innovative, creative approach.  A high level to continually drive effective results with a “doer” mentality
  • Successful, strong experience and ability to lead the major factions within a multi-site environment including but not limited to: Employee engagement, development, culture and appraisal; Sales Strategy and Management; Financial strength and knowledge of financial indicators, Operational Management and Process
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
  • Superior active listening attributes and encouraging level of charisma successfully train, develop and manage large executive teams that is fostered with the critical knowledge of building relationships to understand the best methodology needed to successfully mentor
  • Strong, executive presence and ability maintain calm demeanor in high stress environments
  • Willingness to travel to business units, customer base and globally
  • Proven track record of achieving operational excellence, driving continuous improvement, and cost reduction initiatives
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex production data
