Your Tasks

  • Develops and implements sales plan to secure sales opportunities within a specific sales region and industry.  Maintains current customers through implemented sales plan, superior service and exceptional product line knowledge
  • Partners with the customer to generate new applications within the MAPAL products line presenting and demonstrating value added solutions
  • Coordinates and interacts with the MAPAL support groups to resolve issues from customer including resolving customer complaints as well as problems with applications, etc
  • Liaison between the customer, manufacturing and engineering to ensure delivery, performance and design questions are handled promptly and resolved for future sales. 
  • Instructs and trains on the utilization and application of tooling supplied
  • Resolves tooling issues on the customer's floor and reports findings, recommends changes as required

 

Your Profile

  • 0-3 years cutting tooling experience. Prefer completion of machining apprentice program.  Demonstrated mechanical aptitude to deal with complex machining processes; Demonstrated and documented troubleshooting expertise 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written), Presenter with the skills of persuasion and value seller. Consultative and solutions oriented
  • Critical thinking skills, analytical, organized.  Creatively-minded, good at thinking ‘outside the box’
  • Ability to travel up to 50% is required to meet with customers and/or stakeholders in sales regions
  • Excellent organization and time management skills. Business oriented in planning and development
