Experience

Fresher or 1 to 2 years of experience in cutting tool/machine tool/automotive and ancillary manufacturing industry in the field of Production/NC Programming.

Hands on experience in working as an operator and a general knowledge of tooling, work holding and different types of machines and equipment

Key result areas
  • Creation of NC program for all CNC machines in the production (WIRE EDM/VMC /CNC Grinding)
  • Plan and execute production schedules by planning tools, fixtures and necessary arrangements for machining   
  • Able to follow instruction and work completion
  • Plan tool settings for CNC Machines as per the tool list

Required Skills
  • An understanding and familiarity with CNC machines, including how they work, special codes, machine limitations
  • Experience working as an operator and a general knowledge of tooling, work holding and different types of machines and Equipments
  • Basic knowledge in AUTOCAD, Creo with NC module
  • Read and understand 2D engineering drawings and basic skills in AutoCAD.
  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing process like Turning, Milling, Drilling, Grinding etc,
  • Ability to understand and study 2D manufacturing drawings
  • Knowledge in Microsoft office and basic system knowledge.
